审稿速度取决于很多因素。三个月到半年的都会有。首先提交完论文是submitted状态,然后等待分配AE,这个过程大概需要半个月左右,有的期刊是EIC直接分配,但像TIP还有senior area editor。分配完AE之后会进入in peer review,也就是AE去找了审稿人,TIP一般是三个审稿人当然也见过四个的,AE给审稿人的时间是六周,但有的reviewer会不按时提交。收集了审稿人意见之后,进入await AE decision阶段,这个过程一般是半个月以内,但有的AE比较忙,等待一个月以上也是常有的事情。

是的。IEEETIP于1992年创刊,1992~1993年是季刊;1994年是双月刊;1995年开始更为月刊。近5年来,期刊的发文量很稳定,保持在440+。

IEEE Trans. On Image Processing(简称TIP)是图像处理领域top期刊之一,对研究的创新性和完整性要求比较高。

论文初步上传后,有一个月时间的quality check过程,主要是对研究方向是否符合期刊、英文写作是否达到水平进行检查,这个过程估计是AE和ADM(期刊编辑)共同完成,论文的状态在此时也会进入“under review”,但只是quality check阶段。

如果过了quality check(如果没过,会直接返回,和IEEE SIGNAL PROCESSING LETTERS类似),论文正式进入审稿阶段,在7月初,审稿经历了约4个月,收到了一审意见Major Revision(RQ),三个审稿人给了2个RQ,一个AQ,两个RQ的审稿人主要对论文组织结构提出了问题。

这个主要是我的算法包含了好几个创新点,写的时候没能突出重点,公式推导有点长;但是三个审稿人对论文的创新性都进行了肯定。

有用的经验:

1、只要对自己的idea有信心,不管审稿结果如何,心里都不用慌,没有不让重投,就有机会。

2、认真对待审稿人的每一条意见,他们都是这个领域的大牛、小牛,意见很可能对文章有重要的提升。

3、修改时间估计不够时,提前几天申请延长修改时间,只要理由得当,编辑会很nice地同意的。

4、TIP的整个投稿周期很长,有耐心,做点别的事情。

(2) ACM Transactions on Graphics,美国计算机协会图形汇刊,简称TOG,该刊侧重于计算机图形的处理,影响因子在该领域也比较高。(3) International Journal of Computer Vision,该刊也是该领域的顶级期刊之一,相比于PAMI来讲,该刊侧重于理论的推导。

(4) IEEE Transactions on Image Processing,该刊也是图像处理领域的代表性期刊之一,相比于上面三个期刊来讲,该刊稍微低一点层次。
